Role Description:

Reporting to the Corporate Administrative Director, the Senior Accountant will utilize hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices to perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses.   The Senior Accountant will display a positive attitude, a strong dedication to hard work, and the ability to drive continuous improvement throughout the general accounting organization.  As a key member of the accounting team, the Accounting Manager will be assisting with technical accounting and the monthly closing and consolidation process.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with (French) GAAP
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting to the US Parent Company
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  • Prepare schedules and support for financial and operational audits
  • Prepare quarterly statement of cash flows and cash reporting
  • Provide support to management for annual budget and periodic forecasts as needed
  • Analyze financial data including budget to actual variances

Minimum Experience / Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Public accounting experience or public company experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with French GAAP
  • Experience with General Ledger Accounting Software (NetSuite Preferred)
  • Software and/or Technology industry experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • English communication a requirement
